UP & COMING ARTISTS TO LOOK OUT FOR IN 2020 – GREGORY PAUL DUARTE

Originally born in northern California, Greg moved to the east coast & was raised in Columbia South Carolina, the city of “Smiling Faces, & Beautiful places”.

At the age of 10 Greg started playing in his school band, picking up the talent of strumming the guitar.

“Some of my earliest inspirations were probably Richie Valens, Elvis Presley, & Paul Simon”

“What makes your music different from everyone else?”

Greg replied: “ My music is raw, dramatic, dynamic, & 100% originally written by me.”

Greg’s music is catchy, with an unapologetic cadence that will insinuate nostalgia over its listeners ears.

“What are your favorite pieces of work that you have composed yourself?”

“Two of my favorite songs are “Talk about the Truth” and “If I could I would” with both recently being used in an independent film titled, “Parched 2″. One song opens the film, the other closing it.”

Greg released his first EP in November of 2017 but plans on making a come back in march of 2020 with a project called ” Dont You Love You”.

Greg says that his music holds a message of truth, it’s about figuring out this thing we call life.

“My music is encouraging, it brings people together, I want to motivate people to just be themselves.”

“Don’t be afraid of other peoples opinions, be proud of who you are”

Greg has gotten most of his solid fan base from performing live shows. You might have been lucky enough to hear Gregs Beautiful voice echoing down Selma Street in Hollywood, hearing the strums of the guitar and his angelic voice stop everyone in their tracks to tune in & sing along to one of his catchy Covers or original songs.

Greg used to perform anywhere he could before he landed himself a euro tour in the big leagues, starting his debut in Paris France in July 2019, Greg also marched his way through the Netherlands making stops in Amsterdam, doing pop up gigs while on his way to Kaiserslautern Germany in August 2019.
