UP & COMING ARTISTS TO LOOK OUT FOR IN 2020 – HEARTBREAK KID

The Heart Break Kid is the living legend originally born & raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He is making a lot of noise in the Midwest rap scene right now. He has been making music since he was 16, so a little over 3 years now. He started making music because he was always free-styling and experimenting with beats. He wanted to see how he could take his talents to the next level.

You have never heard anybody with a sound like his, he told us that….

“I can go from R&B singing to street hood rap to mellow love songs to rock star to pretty much anything I really think I’m the most versatile artist in my city and I wanna be able to showcase my talent to a larger audience. I don’t think anyone else can ride a beat the way I do and also wordplay and flow they way I come into a song. Very different then everybody else I don’t just say stuff just to say it I say every word in every verse with meaning and passion and I actually can explain and detail a story through my music. “

Since he was young, he always looked up to Usher & Chris Brown, they were a big influence on him and his motivation to start free-styling at a young age. Bruno Mars was also on the list as well as Lil Wayne, T-Pain, & Jay Z… Another big influence that The Heart Break Kid had, is the late Juice World. Saying that he has never related to anyone music any more than his… Juice world was one of the main reasons the Heart Break kid started hitting the studio more also!

The Heartbreak Kid has 2 projects out right now, only one on Soundcloud which is titled: “Explicit Thoughts” which is basically a mixture of songs that express different emotions & feelings towards certain females he has had an encounter with, whether its heartbreaking or falling in love. Also some of the songs on this project talk about the streets & shows a little bit of his personal background and where he comes from.

The other Tape he has, is an EP titled: “Not Meant For Love”, this project is on all platforms. The Heartbreak Kid told us that this project was built off the strong emotions of a women breaking his heart, getting his name “The Heartbreak Kid”. He used this project as a platform to share his experiences of his past relationships.
