UP & COMING ARTISTS TO LOOK OUT FOR IN 2020 – TAS

Tas is one of the hottest Singers, Rappers, & Producers from Vancouver, British Columbia.He has his own style that makes him different from anyone else. He started making music 2 years ago, he told as that he started making music for a complicated reason, but it ended up becoming an obsession and a way of life. The goal has never been to achieve fame for him, he just wants to learn develop himself as an artist, & improve the material that he releases every year.

“I love this shi* & i’m never gonna give it up… I have no alternative to life without creativity. I don’t a see a lot of longevity working some random job where I’ll never get a chance to be the boss. A lot of people go about their life all kinds of ways about but fail to put the feeling into words. With music I can relate to people I’ve never met before on a whole other level and hopefully help them identify with relatable strengths or weaknesses that we share.“

Some of Tas’s earliest inspirations are 2Pac, Eminem, Nas, Jay Z, Big Punn, Biggie, Bone Thugs, Spice 1, & 50 Cent. He also told us that the best producer to have ever stepped into the game was Dr. Dre & mentioned Scott Storch to follow that list.

“There is so many talented influences I couldn’t even name them all right now, the list just keeps going…”

So far Tas has released 3 projects, but has taken 1 down, he plans to put it back in his catalog because it was not up to the standard he had developed. He told us he has 300 unreleased projects that he plans to kick out starting 2020 with 2 Album releases, the first one being a solo act.

The 3 projects that he has created are multi-faceted with different styles. 1 house album with his own signature style, 1 west coast, Dr.Dre sounding album with live instruments and beats that range from 89-95 beats per minute.

“That one I’m really excited for and want to have amazing features on it because I’m working on building my sound as a producer and need experience hands on creating different style with others. I would love nothing more than to learn and make projects with some of these tops guys right now, I just want to soak up the knowledge. But it’s time to pay my dues and show them I am worth it.”

“I want to tell them, that anything is possible and if you aren’t facing challenges, than you are not growing in life. Challenge yourself more than you are because the rewards are better than money. Life experience is the real currency you will get from the struggle. But you also wont get value from being a poor hippie. If you want change make it yourself and stop asking for other people to make the change for you. I want to say that I’m not perfect but with my music I hope that I can reach the closest thing to it.. I’m only here for a little bit, so I’m not gonna ever stop making music for all of you. Its actually for all of you. And of course, thank you so much for being a fan!”
