🎵 O.2.: Israel Rap Star Making Noise in Brooklyn!

O.2. Is originally from Israel where he was also raised. Since he was 12 years old, his dream was to live in NYC. On May 1st, 2019 he finally made his dream come true when he made the leap & settled in Brooklyn, New York where he is still living currently.

O.2. is very well known for making Hip Hop music, his unique style stands out because of his inspiring storytelling & emotional raps..

As we mentioned earlier, o.2. Is from Israel so his distinctive accent makes him one of a kind.

“I feel like a lot of rappers & musicians are talking about the same things, I expose my fans and listeners to a different perspective of life. "

O.2. has been making music since he was 12 years old, just recently he started making music professionally in January of 2020.

“It’s been my dream since I was a teenager to record music and be a rapper. My motivation to keep recording & keep going in life is first of all my passion.

My Wife & my family are another reason I keep going. I wanna be able to provide them the life they deserve.” O.2.’s earliest inspirations, & also his Top 5 In no particular order are: Jay -Z, Nas , Eminem, The Notorious B.I.G & 2Pac. (And if I had to go with a “6th man” it would definitely be DMX -RIP).

“Each one of these artists have been through similar things like I have, a lot of the time that’s what makes us (fans), we resonate & gravitate towards the music. -

-This is my purpose as well. I want people to relate to what I’m saying, I’m hoping to inspire that “kid” that’s going through the same struggle I used to go through.

Music is powerful!"

O.2. has 2 full projects released, a couple of singles, & a few freestyles in his music catalog.

His first project, “The Journal Of O.2.”, which was released on September 11, 2020, Is based upon his life, circumstances, things he has gone through at that time, & much more to mention...

0.2.’s 2nd project “Blessing In The Curse”, which was released on October 1st, 2021 is very different from “The Journal Of O.2.” starting with the texture of the sound, the concepts of the songs, lyrically, & the selection of beats used.

This project is energetic & motivating.

“One day I was watching a DMX interview & he said something about every bad situation that we go through in life no matter what it is, there is some blessing in it which means something good is gonna come out of it.”

The project begins with the song “ A Vision Beyond Time”, which is very energetic & full of passion, it is definitely one of the best tracks on the album.

The lyrics to each song is relatable & motivational, there are songs like “Brand New” which was the first single off that album where O.2 is talking about a betrayal between 2 best friends & how one of them expects to succeed without putting the work in.

Songs like “Close your eyes” & “Breaking me down” are songs that display O.2’s lyrical ability.

The Cherry on top is “Cry Blood” which samples one of his favorite songs by Jay -Z “Song Cry”.

“This song has the only feature on the album & it’s featuring my beautiful talented wife Ke’onna. It’s about a man cheating on his long term relationship partner & feeling remorseful & regretful about  it.

As I mentioned the only feature on the album was my wife so I’d like to say thank you my love. And shout out to all the dope producers who made those beats I used on that album!”

“Hope” is another Single making its way up the charts due to its reasoning behind the composition, the devastating war between Russia and Ukraine has inspired O.2 to write a song to express himself.

“Whether you know it or not you are affected by it in one way or another! As someone who had experienced some wars in his lifetime I felt like it was my duty to speak up & let my voice be heard.

This is really motivating and hopeful. I hope this song is gonna create a change!”

Besides those two amazing projects O.2. also released singles such as “Hands Up! Don’t Shoot me down”, which is a song about police brutality, racism, injustice & inequality.

“This song pays tribute to George Floyd & everyone who was murdered by the hands of the police. I’d like to tell my supporters thank y’all so much your support means everything to me, I appreciate each and every one of you."
