Wrightway Dee is one of the hottest artists making waves down south! Wright way is an artist that is making a name for himself in Talladega, Alabama.
Wrightway is a versatile artist that can switch from a harmonizing flow, to a dominant delivery whenever he chooses.
He has been making music for 2 years, it has been his alternative of creating positivity in the middle of destruction. He told us that…
“Being in the streets wasn’t working out, being locked up wasn’t the move either, so I had to find a more positive outcome from my choices and music was there!”
Wrightway Dee says that Young Dolph is one of his big influences in the music industry by being one of the first leaders of the Independent Artist movement.
“He has it going on & that inspires me because I know that if he can do it, I can also be my own boss and put something serious together from the Ground up myself!”
One of his most popular Projects is “Menace to Myself”, this is a project about his troubled years, he vividly paints a picture of his experiences of his pain and betrayal he has dealt with in his past. This project is proof that music has been a great outlet for him to produce a positive outcome from these negative experiences.
One of the most popular songs you should go stream by Wrightway Dee is “Lately”, he told us…
“This song was inspired by every aspect of my life when I got released from jail… I had so much going on before I was locked up, so I put everything into this song and took off from there with it, this turned out to be one of my smash singles!”
Wrightway Dee plans on dropping 2-3 projects this year, he said that he is always working so he will drop as much music as he feels he needs to.
Another note to mention, Wrightway has a video shoot coming up on June 13TH with the infamous videographer Tevin Meith for his single “Heffanie” featuring Kid Bless.
We asked wrightway Dee how he is involved in his community, and he told us that…
“I used to coach the youth, & I always try to give back when I can whether it’s giving somebody a few dollars to get by, or a ride, anything… it’s the small things that count cause I know what it feels like not to have it.”
