WHO IS MONEY GANG VONTAE!?
Money Gang Vontae is an original rapper coming straight out of the south side of Chicago but making a name for himself on the West Coast. He is a lyrical artist that raps and speaks about things he has really been through, the majority of the new artists just come up with fake stories most of the time so that’s what makes him stand out from all of the others.
He’s been making music since his freshman year in high school, what made him want to start music and rapping is inspiration from his older brother and cousin, they gave him the motivation to start really taking music seriously.
Vontae grew up spending a lot of his time in the studio with his brother and cousin making music. Also Lil Wayne was a big inspiration on Vontae’s sound because of his cold play with words. Vontae wanted his music to sound like that when he was growing up.
Lil Wayne, Vontaes cousin, and his brother are some of his earliest inspirations because he seen all of these men put in the hard work day in and day out just to make it to where they are today.
Money Gang Vontae has a few singles out, he doesn’t have an official album yet but he’s working on finishing his first official mixtape. He told us that…
“This is something that’s going to open up fans to see what’s going on in the world and with people.”
Money Gang Vontae’s most popular project is “Money Gang Talk yo shit”. Vontae is on his way to break a quarter million streams in the next 2 weeks with his music going viral on a number of radio stations!
This is a mix tape that’s going to have 10 tracks on it and maybe some bonus tracks. It’s a diverse tape with different styles and different sounds to it.
We asked how he came up with the name for the project & he told us that…
“I came up with the name because once people hear me rapping state “Money Gang Talk shit”.
He has a few artists on his tape featuring K-Scott, Yung Extra, Jgotti, and quite a few other up-and-coming artists that he has been collaborating with. Also one of the best engineers in California that goes by the name of “jefe mixed it” has been a big part of finishing this project.
Another popular song for Vonte is “poverty”, it’s a single giving insight on where he came from and where he is today. He doesn’t have any collaborations on the single.
Vontae has some more music coming out, he has yet to disclose an exact release date yet. He said that the final touches of the tape are almost done and the wait is almost over.
Outside of Music Money Gang Vontae gives back to the community in Chicago whenever somebody is in need.
